Skilled Care: Medical Services

Skilled Care are services that require the skills of a registered nurse (RN), a licensed vocational nurse (LVN), or licensed therapists such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists.

Wound Care (specialized post-Open Heart, Vascular including post-amputations, Orthopedic, Pressure Ulcer management)

  • Drains (JP, Blake, Penrose, Pigtail)

  • Lines (PICC, Midline)

  • Tubes (G/GJ/J tube)

  • Medication Management

  • Symptoms Management

  • IV Infusions

Specialized Post-CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft/Open-Heart) Care:

  • Wound Care (Sternal and Graft sites)

  • Symptoms Management for CHF

  • Symptoms Management for Atrial Fibrillation

  • Symptoms Management for DVT

  • Medication Review
